In the lush hills overlooking Balis unspoilt North Coast, nestled among spice plantations, with views of Java’s distant volcanoes, you find a small, luxurious retreat with a special sense of calm. The villas are spacious and private, decorated with local antiques and beautiful hardwood furniture. letting you experience graceful tropical living withmodern conveniences, as if staying in the home of a friend. The restaurant serves an easy-to-enjoy tropical cuisine, that has been the subject of two bestselling cookbooks. Much of the produce comes from Damai’s own farm and gardens. On most nights the tables areup by the bonfires around the pool, with views of fishermen’s lights on the Bali Sea.
The spa offers a suite of treatments based on ancient Balinese traditions, as well as selected signature treatments incorporating Balinese healing rituals, letting you experience Balinese spirituality first hand.
The Damai is 4 km from Lovina Beach and 80 km from Ngurah Rai Airport.
The Damai is strategically 10 minutes away from the nearest helicopter landing point, offering utmost convenience for guests arriving by helicopter. Private ground transfers can be arranged upon request (additional charges apply).
